The Preterm Birth Prevention Initiative is underpinned by on-going research aiming to both improve the effectiveness of the clinical strategies and to monitor the success of the program. The Women and Infants Research Foundation researchers are working alongside hospital staff in the Preterm Birth Prevention Clinic based at King Edward Memorial Hospital to trial and apply latest discoveries into treatment strategies for preventing premature birth.
